They were awarded for the first time on 14 February 2019 at a gala evening at the Karlín Music Theater in Prague Diamonds of Czech business, which are to become a traditional and prestigious evaluation of the performance of Czech companies in individual regions.

The Czech Business Diamonds Awards are given according to a ranking compiled at the end of each year by Bisnode 's analytical experts on the basis of objective economic indicators over the last three years.

This ranking includes companies that have:

• registered office in the Czech Republic
• meet a certain turnover
• they have financial statements available for the last three years
• they have the ability to meet their obligations, so they do not owe anyone
